Lamb On Spit: Photo This is a traditional lamb spit, which has been injected with a herb marinade. The lamb is then basted whilst cooking. Once cooked the lamb is then carved off the fire onto the plates for your guest to enjoy. This is a giant spit kebab on which D-boned meat is cooked. Once cooked the meat is removed and sliced finely. The meat is then served off the fire in serving trays. The giant spit kebab is the more popular of the two spit braais.
